Eva Dorman

Pianist Eva Dorman holds a Bachelor of Music from Wheaton College Conservatory in Wheaton, IL. Eva grew up in coastal Maine and began studying classical piano at the age of six. Her private instructors have also included Joan Torno, Dr. Gerald Wheeler, Dr. Daniel Paul Horn, and Alexander Djordjevic. Eva has seven years of teaching experience as a private piano teacher. She has also taught classroom choral, theory, and music history lessons. Her favorite composers include J. S. Bach, Frédéric Chopin, and Arvo Pärt and she especially enjoys performing in chamber music groups. Eva believes it is important that students have an individualized and comprehensive musical education that encourages students to grow in diligence, creativity, and confidence. Lessons will include various repertoire styles, technique exercises, ear training, music theory, and improvisation.
